How to directly connect the absolute encoder to the computer?
Add a module between the absolute encoder and the computer. For example, a CAN protocol absolute encoder needs a USB to CANbus connector, and an RS485 protocol absolute encoder needs a USB to RS485 serial port.
Does the absolute encoder actively send data? What is the upload interval? Can I set it myself? How slow is it?
The default query mode can be set to active upload. The fastest RS485 protocol frequency is 2ms, that is, the data is detected once in 2ms, and the slowest is set by yourself.
What is the relationship between absolute encoder single-turn value and angle?
For example, for a single-turn absolute encoder, the single-turn value is 821, and the angle value is 821/1024*360°=288.63°
What is the function of the yellow wire of the absolute encoder? The yellow wire can be used to set zero or restore factory settings.
Which PLC should I choose when using an absolute encoder?
This has nothing to do with which PLC, it mainly depends on which communication interface your plc supports, such as CAN or RS485.

Does the encoder have positive and negative protection detection?
The power supply is protected against reverse connection. Nothing happens if the encoder is reversed connection.
What is the difference between the 5V and 24V voltage of the absolute encoder?
The supply voltage is different, everything else is the same. If the absolute encoder voltage is 5V(shows on the label, it can only supply 5V voltage, if the absolute encoder voltage is 24V, then 9V to 30V are all acceptable.
RS485 communication protocol, connect 3 encoders, how to set the encoder address? (Slave number)? Do I need to write the address every time I start, or just write it once?
Modify the encoder ID according to the communication protocol or directly write it with the host computer of BRITER. No need to write each time, the encoder parameters can be saved after power-off after modification.
How to restore factory settings?
